American Idol’s on Star World now. I’m hoping that Scott’s going out this week, I can’t believe he’s still in! He always has this really arrogant look on his face, like he’s better than anyone. The things he says just gets on my nerves. For example:

Scott’s quote: Last week, Simon told me to pack my bags. I’m not leaving till I’m a famous star on Broadway!

Yuck…I wonder who’s actually voting for him.

Maybe the same people who voted for last year’s World Idol! Who can forget Kurt Nilsen..one of the judges said “You have the voice of an angel and the face of a hobbit. If they had a Middle-earth Idol you’d be it.” Unlike Scott, however, he was a pretty good singer. Well, not to insult him, but he would really need to be a great singer to make up for his less-than-average looks!

I’ve even managed to get my mum hooked onto American Idol. Every Wednesday and Thursday, you can find her in front of the TV, watching the show. Believe it or not, she knows the names of all the judges, AND all the contestants. One week, when I went down to Singapore, she even watched it by herself and SMS-ed me the results!

Anyway, no matter what criticisms we may have about the contestants, one thing is for sure. ALL of the finalists have so much more talent than our Malaysian Idol contestants (barring Jac, maybe).
