Well, one thing that gets me annoyed, is people who PRETEND they know what they’re talking about, but actually don’t know anything. I feel like it’s a waste of my time.

Case No. 1

For example, there’s this one person, who says:

“The connection to my website is very, very slow when I use dial-up. But when I use Streamyx, it’s fine. It shouldn’t be like this.”

I mean, HELLO?!? Do you even understand the difference between broadband and dial-up? Of course it’s going to be slower when you’re using dial-up.

Case No. 2

One day, the phone rings, and I answer.

Person: I think there’s something wrong with my email. When I check my emails, I cannot receive the email messages.

Me : OK, let me check this out for you. (So I check it out on the server, and there are no emails in her
inbox)

Me : I just checked, and everything looks fine. Are there any error messages when you check your
mail?

Person: No, just when I check, nothing comes in.

Me : Well, you don’t have any emails, so nothing WOULD come in when you hit send and receive.

Person: Oh..

??? Maybe she thought she was so happening, that every few minutes an email would come into her mailbox.

*Sigh* This is what I have to deal with…
