On Day 4, we went to an island by the name of Monkey Island. Hmm..I wonder why they call it Monkey Island?
Yeah, we saw about 4 – 5 monkeys there, which brought back memories of the monkeys at the Penang Botanical Gardens which were so viscious! We went kayaking around the island for a couple of hours. Don’t have any photos, they’re all in another friend’s camera.
After lunch, we went on a two hour hike. What our guide didn’t prepare us for, was how tough the hike was going to be! We all thought it would be an easy peasy walk through the jungle, but we were so wrong! We had to climb over really sharp rocks, which the Vietnamese call cats’ ear rocks, because of how pointy they were. We had to beat through paths, because it was so overgrown. We had to slide down sandy paths, which were super super steep. Boy, was it exhausting!

| My sock after the hike. I fully recommend Teva sandals. It had lots of grip, much better than my Adidas shoes. |

| After trekking, we got back onto another boat. We stopped by another fishing village, where we could have bought seafood, and the chef would cook it for dinner. |
