My 400 gig disk drive filled up awhile ago, and I’ve been meaning to get a new one for quite some time. T went to Low Yat the other day, and brought me back a new Maxtor 1 TB drive. Yes, can you believe it, 1 TB! The price has dropped amazingly since I bought my old one a few years ago, this one only cost RM360. It’s not a portable one, so it comes with a power supply, but honestly, that doesn’t really bother me, it’s not like I’d be carrying it around all the time anyway.

Of course, me being me, I just only opened the box today, when I’ve actually had it for about two weeks already. I’ve finally worked up the energy to open it and transfer some files out of my notebook. It’s really nifty, the power supply has removable heads, so it fits most of the common electricity outlets around the world. I’ve got three different heads that can be used. It also comes with a three year limited warranty, which hopefully, I’ll never need to utilize, but it’s nice knowing that it’s covered for so long.

Honestly, I don’t have too much to say about it yet, I haven’t even turned it on! I just wanted to post a picture of my new toy whilst I remembered, otherwise it would probably never make it on here. So, I’m off to clean up my laptop which is chock-a-block full at the moment, and to see how well the Maxtor drive works. Ciao! (Oh, and since Monday’s a holiday, I think it’ll be pretty well used by tomorrow!).
